Prasad Conference --a Gift of Grace --

Open to the Public.

Enjoy a rare opportunity to explore the modern impact of the ancient sciences of Ayurveda, Jyotish, and Meditation with three master teachers: Vasant Lad BAMS, MASc, Pandit Pravinji, and Shri Anandi Ma.

Kundalini Maha Yoga is an ancient spiritual practice that brings lasting inner peace and happiness to individuals of any belief or affiliation. It is based on the simple principle that in every person there is a source of divine energy. In Sanskrit this is called Kundalini. The purpose of Kundalini Maha Yoga is to awaken this energy, or to intensify the activity if it is already awakened. It is a direct method of spiritual evolution.

When Kundalini is active, vitality is enhanced and progress on the path of spiritual evolution is rapid.

In this conference, Shri Anandi Ma discusss the basics of Kundalini energy. She will teach how Kundalini functions within the neurological pathways and Chakra system. Shri Anandi Ma clarifies the connection between Kundalini Maha Yoga, Ayurveda, and Jyotish. She speaks to the role of Kundalini in the healing process and presents modalities that reduce stress and promote health and well-being.

Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that means "Science of Life." It is probably the oldest authentically recorded healing science in existence, having been practiced throughout India for over 5,000 years and has been growing in popularity in this country as well. Its knowledge is empowering and timely. Ayurveda seeks to understand and correct imbalances and to restore the innate intelligence and harmony of the individual through diet, herbal medicines, lifestyle changes and other treatments. It creates balance within and around us. It is a simple, practical science of life whose principles are universally applicable to each individual's daily existence. Ayurveda speaks to every element and facet of human life, offering guidance that has been tested and refined over many centuries to all those who seek greater harmony, peace and longevity.

Following an introduction to Ayurveda, Dr. Vasant Lad presents the Ayurvedic perspective on how unresolved stress produces disease. He explains the Ayurvedic techniques which give us the insight to understand our individual constitutions, and he will demonstrate how these techniques can be used to rebalance the body, increase health, and promote rejuvenation.

Jyotish. (Vedic Astrology) is the mother of Western Astrology. It is based on the Vedic theory of creation and karma founded in ancient Indian scriptures. Jyotish distinguishes between fate and destiny. Fate is that which happens as manifestations of cosmic law; destiny is the result of one's own actions, combined with the actions of parents, siblings, ancestors, children and society. Considered to be very precise, Jyotish helps us utilize our strengths and offers remedies to dissipate negativity. The Vedic system helps one acquire a deeper understanding of the unseen forces affecting the past, present and future of our lives and in the process, directs us to the highest spiritual purpose of human existence.

In this conference, Pandit Pravinji focuses on Jyotish as a tool to balance the limitations and restrictions (results of past actions) that hold one back from achieving his or her true potential.  He presents an understanding of the principle of light as a biological, chemical and psychological energy that impacts the constitution and physiology of the body.  Pravinji discusses some of the archetypes of stress as seen through the tools of Jyotish and shows how Jyotish can be used to transcend our physical limitations and as a helping hand on the road to spiritual growth.

The Chakra Bhedan Workshop

The Abundance Workshop

Prerequisite: None. Open to the Public.

In our tradition, abundance encompasses far more than material prosperity. Abundance is the grace of the Divine Mother in the form of Laxmi. She is the wellspring of energy that manifests at every level as physical, emotional, and spiritual wealth. Abundance is about building energy, and sharing, and giving away that energy for the benefit of others. It enhances our wellbeing, enables us to better serve the world, and increases the peace of mind we need to pursue the goal of self-realization.

In this workshop, Shri Anandi Ma and Shri Dileepji will teach practices that help remove blockages to the flow of Laxmi's energy in our lives.
